Yeah that's pretty annoying that they trade him for basically nothing (no offense to McCutchen) and he ends up being a legit hitting outfielder that we've been needing forever now. After all the busts and AAAA players, they trade away the 1 who actually turns out to be good

I honestly don't remember him being a top prospect for us. At the time, I felt like we didn't give up a whole lot for Cutch.

He wasn't really. Maybe a top 5-7 prospect in our system, but nowhere near the top 100 overall prospect list.
We got Pillar and Yastrzemski for cheap, so it doesn't hurt as bad.
