That blows my mind

But such a cool day for Yaz! Saw a decent amount of red Sox fans stand for him his first at bat. Very cool

The Giants never met the Red Sox in the World Series all those years, and because of scheduling, and the interleague divisional rotation, the Giants had only been to Fenway 2 times before now, a two game series and a three game series, and were swept both times.

Id say two historic franchises never meeting in the World Series over a 106 year span, and the Giants only getting the chance to play at Fenway 2 times in the 21 years of interleague still makes that fact pretty amazing. Fenway is the oldest, and most iconic stadium that still exists. The fact that a 136 year old franchise like the Giants hadn't won there is crazy, regardless of the obvious factors.
15 innings! Lord have mercy. Glad Yaz homered and we got another W for Bochy.
Great pic! And would be easy to crop out that bum on the right.

HEY NOW! That BUM took the heart out of the Nationals in Game 2 of the NLDS in 2014. Without that BUM, do we win the WS???

We won by 1 run, and Belt hit a HR in the game.
