We'll try to re-sign him, but it will depend on the money, and who we hire as manager.
Yeah I'd be really upset if we can't resign him and we weren't able to move him. That would feel like a Tyson punch to the gut.

A smattering. Most cheered. The boo's were probably for basically telling Bochy they were moving on after 2019.
Obviously he doesnt deserve any boos. I think it is time to move on even though I will always respect and admire Bochy as a man and manager. Bochy had a long run but I think its time to bring in a young sharp mind who can be part of the organization for several years. Something like what the Dodgers did when they hired Dave Roberts. WIth that in mind, I would pass on Joe Maddon. Have to give some thought on who I would really love to come in but I think Farhan will bring in the right guy.
Lots of work ahead. Zaidi was given a terrible roster and did a terrific job getting Pillar, Yaz, and Dickerson as well as dumping guys like Melancon. Pomeranz, and Dyson for prospects. The team is in the right direction but I cant see them truly contending for at least 3 years. The Dodgers seem to be a lock for the West for awhile so the plan should be to get their young players experience, move their expensive vets wherever possible, and become a real contender again in 2022 and beyond.

It really is crazy the admiration we all have towards Timmy. He obviously made the Giants relevant again after Bonds and was a key to 2010 but it's crazy how much he means to us

The 2 CY awards, the no hitters, the 2010 playoff dominance, the strikeouts, and the flair that he brought to the mound......this is why Giants fans loved Tinmy so much. Just wish he could have lasted a lot longer.
