Man this team's offseason is going to be crazy.

Bill Walsh changed the way offenses operate, Bochy just got lucky with 3 teams out of the 12 years with the giants lol not the same

First where did you read they were the same?

Second, if you want to tell yourself they got lucky three times in five years you have fun with that.

I'll agree that few people could have managed those teams to World Series Championships tho.

Lol

Bochy changed the game too. The way he managed the bullpen and in general in the playoffs has been mimicked throughout almost all playoff teams since 2012 and beyond.

He made not have had the impact of Walsh but comparing the too is pretty stupid, imo. They are both great HOF leaders of men.

Sign Anthony Rendon, should be the #1 Priority. Move Longo to 1B or dump him.

Kevin Cash from the Rays would be my #1.
Is it 2025? Just asking since Kevin Cash is signed through 2024 with Tampa Bay.

You'd have to jump through some hoops to get him. Bochy was under contract when we hired him as well, unless I'm mistaken.
Completely different situation. San Diego did not offer Bochy an extension and let him explore other opportunities. TB is not going to let a guy like Cash go when he just lead their young team to the playoffs. Not a chance in hell.

Again, I'm just saying what I'd like to happen and who my #1 guy is not what I think will happen. I couldn't care less if you think there is a chance or not.

Just stupid to bring up a guy who is under contract for 5 years and has no chance of coming to Giants.

Lol this. What a terrible take

The 2 CY awards, the no hitters, the 2010 playoff dominance, the strikeouts, and the flair that he brought to the mound......this is why Giants fans loved Tinmy so much. Just wish he could have lasted a lot longer.

Obviously. I love the dude. Jason Schmidt is also one of my faves but obv Timmy is over him. But it was even more emotional with him showing up. Just saying it's unique.

Truly the end of an era though.
Also, Belt again didn't hit 20 homers.

"But he had a .339 OBP!"

Lol yup, white priviledge. After Dusty and Felipe failed, they had to make sure the next white manager got his rings!

lol he obviously didn't realize Cash was locked up, and is trying to sound like he meant to say that to save face.

Zero chance we drop mega bucks on a 3B. The rotation is priority one, and after that were not going to be big spenders. An expensive 30 year old IF doesn't seem like the building block of a Farhan type plan.

Irrational huh?

$17.5 million for a mediocre dude.

Luckily, the era is changing and I think Belt era is done too.
