Take away the stupid triples alley, duh.
This off-season already a success. Our entire offense about to get a boost. Everything else is just gravy.

Wow, can't wait to see how it looks, but where in RCF are they going to put it?

Lol, where do you think?

What are they going to do - knock down the wall?

My guess would be that they would build a separate wall somewhere in front of where the warning track currently sits out there in deep right center aka triples alley, while trying to preserve as much of triples alley as they can. I hope they don't remove any seating. Getting rid of the garden would be cool too
Lol why do most people assume we have to knock the wall down or move it to add bullpens ?
There is a lot of space under that stadium over there from LF to triples alley.
Just in imaging the layout under the stands I can see pens being added with minimal adjustments required.
I think most are expecting drastic changes which I doubt will happen

IMO, Mookie is the only offensive player I would break the bank for.

As bad as I want a good offense, now isnt the time to buy players like Rendon. But Betts is different.

Same.

Mookie won't be available for awhile.

I mean....he is in his last season of team control. He is arbitration eligible again and then a free agent next offseason.

Not sure that qualifies as a while, but yeah.

its amazing how often grace is completely f**ked up with baseball s**t. And the GM just came out and said they cant afford Martinez and Betts.

Rendon just turned down $210M from the Nats. He wants that Nolan A $.

Garce loves to be wrong.
Evidently

He's available now, Boston has so much money invested in sale, price and eovadi that they can't actually keep him

I'm calling b******t on that.

They said "it will be difficult" to keep him and JD Martinez. One will be gone

They'll do everything to sign Mookie first. He's the franchise player, and what he's done in the city too... man the outrage would be epic.
I think JD wants that epic payday and the Sox I don't think can pay them both the ultra contract. I could see them letting JD walk and keep Betts

Even if they got rid of triples alley, how would that dramatically boost our offense? How many times did you see a Giants player hit a ball that landed out in triples alley on the fly? Rarely.

The air density of right on the bay, and the wind patterns in the stadium are the two biggest reasons Oracle is a tough place to hit. The dimensions aren't nearly the problem people say they are. Triples alley was just created to balance out the insanely short corner down the RF line. It will still be tough to hit them out to right even if triples alley is gone.

JD Martinez has an opt-out of his contract this year. They would be stupid to let Mookie go. Too early to tell, but no way Boston lets him go, imo.
