because were a rebuilding team and getting a big name guy is probably not going to happen when they look at the mess of this roster.

The Giants job is a premium position. The organization is first class top to bottom. Our farm system is improving fast, and Farhan is one of the best in baseball at building a team. I guarantee there are a bunch of good options lining up for a chance to interview. Its just about finding the right one.
How do you know he's mediocre? You seen him coach before tho? Or you can read the future? Just because he hasn't coach before doesn't mean he can't be a good one, I just don't expect a big name to land with us

What are you basing your desire to hire him on?
Not sure what "big name" means. Aside from Maddon, there aren't really any high end reputation guys available. I don't understand why you don't expect us to get interest from the best available guys.

Hopefully Ron Wotus is retained on the new staff, but if not, itll be the end of an incredible tenure. Hes been in the Giants organization since 1988, and on the Major League coaching staff since 1998.
