As much as we love seeing the Dodgers lose, I kind of feel bad for Kershaw. He's always been a stand up guy and a great competitor.
I don't. not at all. Not sure why I would root for him to succeed. He's made a ton of money and had a lot of recognition. He deserves what he gets for his playoff failures. Bottom line is he isn't clutch when it means the most.
That's why I love MadBum. He may be an ass sometimes, but that dgaf attitude is why the team has 3 WS titles.
Fans crying about his attitude are just bitter hes not on their team. Being a red ass on the field is a big part of why hes so great in the biggest moments. The Giants fans who were putting him down for it this year are disgraceful. Its all part of the legendary package, and it helped win 3 titles, one of them a direct result of him.
I find it amusing that despite being the best pitcher of his era, Clayton Kershaw will be remembered for his playoff choking, and despite never reaching CY level status, Bumgarner will be remembered as the greatest postseason pitcher ever.
