Technically third interview. He had his 1st over the phone. Than 2nd a few days ago. Looks like he's the guy.

I have no idea about his baseball background, but I trust Zaidi if he goes this route.

I want the guy that Farhan wants. He knows more about baseball and knows these guys more than any of us. If Kapler is his choice then I'm more than fine with it.

Having said that, if he chose Dusty Fricking Baker I would change my mind about him. LOL

I cant say im going to blindly trust whatever choice he makes, considering hes never hired a manager by himself before. Pretty sure Friedman had a lot to do with the Dodgers hire.

I think he will ultimately get us winning again, but hes clearly not above mistakes. Connor Joe was a good one.

Kapler kind of has a reputation for being a self absorbed douche. He loves his camera time. Its just really hard to see the Giants wanting someone like that leading the team.

No GM or manager goes without making mistakes but his track record so far is very good. I dont think anyone would dispute that. SO he took a shot on Conner Joe. No biggie given that he hit on Yaz and Dickerson, got some nice value on trades, and unloaded the full Melancon contract.

All I am saying is that no one in here has interviewed or worked with Kapler like Zaidi has. If he believes that he should be the guy I am totally fine with it. He knows him. We only read reports. That is unless you have some inside information that you havent shared with us?
