Yeah, pass on Kapler - he's too into himself.

Says the guy who wants Dusty Baker. LMAO

Dusty is 6 years older than Bochy, and nowhere near as good. It would be the worst possible hire for a young team building around a next gen strategy. Obviously theres no chance its Dusty.

I didnt say that. But I cant imagine any person I would want less than Dusty Baker. How many teams has he failed with now? I would prefer someone young and outside the organization.

Oh.. how do you know that Kapler is too into himself anyway? Do you know him? Are there quotes from several of his players saying that? Or did you just read what one sportswriter might have written? Please do tell.
Teams Dusty Baker ruined in the postseason:

Giants
Cubs
Reds
Nats

And those losses are some of the most memorable in postseason history.

I don't know him - but, he does have a reputation.
I know damn well no one here is serious about rehiring dusty baker

oh people who casually follow baseball do believe that. even in DC, people complain the Nats fired him all the time. They don't realize what he does to a pitching staff

Plus he's probably murdered an en entire forest during his career with his toothpick addiction.

That dude rolls into Final Gravity from time to time. My ex-roommate has ran into him twice. He likes craft beer and to smoke a bit of the ol' reefer.

By here, if you mean the Giants organization I would agree with you. If by here you mean the WZ you just need to go back a page or 2. LOL

If I had to bet right now I would go with Joe Esprada with Kapler a close 2nd. I really think it will be one of those 2.

Even if Joe Esprada.

Espada = Esprada. Hell, Esprada sounds better anyway.

Hopefully its Espada.

Between his douchey sounding personality and not really looking into sexual assault allegations of a player, Kapler seems like more risk than hes worth. I know Philly fans hate everything, but I remember them complaining about some really egregious mistakes that Kapler would make. Plus he was handed a pretty young and talented roster, and didn't really do anything with it.

Apparently Big Z interviewed Bob Geren too. Current Dodgers bench coach and former A's coach. He's 58.

Any thoughts gents?
