If that was the case he wouldn't be a finalist. I just hope it's not him

So Kapler is cool with rape.... great. He does have that American Psycho vibe going on.

I don't see it being Kapler.

Oh man a rough go to the start of the off-season if indeed Kapler is the pick.

Keith Law said he didn't do anything wrong. He reported the allegations to the Dodgers higher ups. It's on the higher ups to report any misconduct to MLB.

Now John Shea is reporting that Kapler, Espada, and Quatraro are the finalists, not Grifol.

just go Espada and end this s**t already. Starting to believe with all this time theyre really leaning Kapler

Kerry Crowley thinks Farhan is taking his time to do more background work on Espada and Quatraro. In the end I still think Kapler will be the choice.
I dont have any reason other than a gut feeling that it will be Espada.

Same. Ive felt that way since Espada was named a candidate. It just feels like the right hire for some reason. It sounds like all things being equal, Farhan prefers Kapler, but hes too high risk.

This hire will probably define Farhan's tenure here, and Kapler just has too many cons. He did such a poor job in Philly.

and its not like they had no talent, watch Girardi do way more in a year than Kapler did with that talent

And if the higher ups never report any misconduct you just sit back and chill??? Nah, I ain't buying it. That's the Joe Paterno route man. It doesn't smell right at all.

They can still put the pen underneath the seats. That area is fkn huge under there. I don't see this being a problem at all if they're engineers are on point. There's a s**tload of room underneath those bleachers to put two pens and not remove the seats. Just depends on the direction they go.

Or they can do what KC did is put a double pen back there. Or is that the Angels?? Again they're are a lot of ways they can go about this. It won't be taking away a drastic amount of seats though. I don't see that happening.

Unless the sign Kapler then ... blow it up

What you mean by double pen? I know in Philly they have them kind of stacked. One is higher up than the other and they are right next to each other I believe
Apparently we are also looking Pete Putila from Houston for GM. Thoughts?

Yeah that. Angels have it too. A few teams have this style.
Apparently the Braves are making Bumgarner their top priority, and will contact him immediately after free agency starts and get a deal done. Looks like Bum is gone.
