San Francisco Giants 2019 Off-season Thread

I was kidding and you already said that. What I am saying is most important doesn't have to do with championships. There are plenty of examples of most important players on teams with no championships. We wont agree so there is no point to continue. And if you are being consistent, you cant share credit on Mays and take away credit from all the other players during the WS runs which is what you are doing.

Im not taking credit away from anyone, im just saying that without Posey, we have 0 WS titles right now. You made Mays out to be the only guy who put SF baseball on the map.

Championships are all that ultimately matters, so that is most important IMO. I think anyone would take a player who was the difference maker in winning 3 titles over an all time great player who didn't win any here.

BTW, Marino, Kelly, and Barry Sanders wouldn't be considered the most important players in the history of their franchises if those teams had a guy who was directly responsible for winning them 3 Super Bowls.

Its funny, but can you imagine a 14 inning game where the bullpen is light, and we have to watch this for multiple extra innings? LOL

Hope Beede isn't hurt. I think he could have a breakout year.

Hope not too but Chris O'Leary is typically on point with his analysis about mechanics. Beede's timing is really off, and will lead to continual arm problems if not corrected.

I hate it actually. Even as a diehard baseball fan, watching something unnecessary like this is stupid and makes the game way too long. And if a diehard hates it, imagine the casual fans who think the game it too long.

I hate it too. But it did make me giggle the first couple times I clicked it.
