Historically, I have not liked the DH, but I see the benefits and am on board to try it for this year. Is that hard to get?

yeah it is. Because there aren't benefits. I literally posted the difference in how the game is played and you ignored it. Having an aging catcher isnt a reason to all of the sudden want a DH for a season and a half.

I don't think either Ramos or Luciano are on the 40 man roster. Essentially they kinda travel and workout with the team

Edit: there won't be.

So, that all but confirms for me that Bart will be on the team day 1. Gotta be in the lineup.

Ramos would be interesting to keep a eye on. As we have a need in the OF. I think Dick & Pence will rotate a lot between DH & the OF. Yaz I guess is our best shot in CF. Gamer, but he's much better as a LF/RF. Hamilton......no thanks. PR will be his biggest asset. Davis is fodder. Slater is all over the place now.
So yeah even if they don't get Puig then I could see Ramos getting some AB's. Bart though is the more realistic shot at getting some AB's.

I think this is going to be fun. You could have a young hungry team out there with a legit shot at the pennant, and in need of some help. Farhan could have a nice shot to work some nice trades this year. Shoot if Cueto and Shark come out looking good that could be some nice trade assets there. Then it gives our youngsters a shot. Especially with no MILB.
