I haven't hear anything about ties

Correct there are no ties. That was just a rumor. Rules staying the same from what I know. So that means extra innings will be modified so that each 1/2 inning following the 9th inning will begin with a runner on second until a team wins.

That's such a stupid f**king idea. I really hope after they try it out, everyone realizes it's dumb and they just go back to normal.

It's what they do in the minors. I agree. I don't mind the length of games. Best bang for your buck. I also see why. They just want to speed up the game. I'm not a fan of the DH rule either

I don't mind extra innings either, but it does blowout your bullpen if it goes extra long.
Giants sign Yasiel Puig yet?
So what if a game goes 17 innings and we run out of players to put on 2nd base? We just don't have someone on second?

I'm cool with trying new things this year. I'd be mad if we were loaded this year. But we not so meh

I doubt there are any 17 inning games with this rule, which I think is the point. No one benefits from a 13+ inning game... Those can go away and baseball will be better for it.

Seriously. They won't go that deep. You're starting off with a runner on 2B. Sacrifice him over, now one out. You're telling me teams couldn't execute that ?

The Giants may have trouble executing this Lol. After the sac bunt, a foul out to the catcher, followed by a weak come backer to the pitcher. Inning over

giants pitchers are the worst at bunting, maybe the dh idea is a good one

Good, we don't need those bums.
