Snit deserves plenty of blame here. Starting Keuchel twice was dumb, especially after his mediocre first showing. And the fact that Soroka made one start and Fried made none is crazy.

Dudes f**k up double plays every day b. That doesn't mean your team has to give up the most runs ever scored in the first inning of a playoff game in the history of baseball.

Awful series for him, awful September too. Series should've never gotten to 5 games. To be fair, Donaldson, Markakis, and McCann did nothing either. All they had to do was get A hit in game 4 with all those chances and we're playing the gnats...

I wish they'd let Snit go and bring in someone from outside the Bobby Cox tree. Someone mentioned they haven't gone outside the org for a manager in 30 years. Not sure if that's accurate, but if so, it's time for a change. Couldn't stand seeing Kakes just being slotted into the 5 hole game after game doing nothing. Gotta adjust and adapt, snit didn't do either, need a fresh voice/outlook.

Add to that you only pitch Soroka once...sigh...

Stranded way too many runners the whole series, guys weren't hitting throughout the lineup. Freeman, Donaldson, Albies and Markakis were all batting .250 or under . Not going to win playing like that. Didn't deserve it with that type of performance.

Snit made a few dumb decisions esp around pitching, but the one that stands out to me is Game 4, top of 9 after the Cards tied it, Acuna hits a lead-off double. At this point you're playing for a run to win, should have been playing small ball and bunting him over to 3rd. Esp the way we've been hitting. Instead we strand him with 3 straight outs (in the meat of our lineup) and Cards end it an inning later. Have to take advantage of that, esp in that situation.

Removing the tomahawks before the game was bad mojo too

Very disappointed because we played well against the Nats all year. Blew a golden opportunity to cash in a World Series ticket IMO

Stunned is an understatement! they peaked too soon and the injury bug caught up with them.

Good job by the Braves. He will cost a lot less next year than his set up man.
