John Havlicek passes away at 79.

Most fans here never saw him play but he exemplified commitment to the team. He won 8 Championships and overlaped several dynasties. Nobody worked harder than Hondo. He was drafted by the Cleveland Browns as a tight end.

Too young to see him play, but always saw highlights of him and Dave Cowens/ Jojo White on the post Russell era Celtics teams. Hondo! One of the greats. RIP

This is the time to remember because it will not last forever. I remember him fondly from this video growing up back in the day :)
