Matthew Boling: UGA track phenom turns heads in international event

Another race, another win for UGA track phenom Matthew Boling.
This victory, however, was international.
Boling, who expected to report to Georgia later this summer, won the 100 meters at the Pan American U20 Championships with a wind-legal personal best of 10.11 seconds.
The event took place in Costa Rica on late Friday, and Boling's blistering time was no surprise after he was clocked in the semifinals at 10.2 seconds.
Winning never seems to get old for Boling, who just graduated from high school in Houston, Texas. He became a bona-fide mainstream sports celebrity in the last four months with his viral track videos and jaw-dropping times.
Boling is one of the nation's top Olympic hopefuls in track and field for the 2020 Games in Japan.
