Kawhi is the hero that the NBA needs and the one it deserves. You win a ring with the Clippers, you're a damn legend forever.

Same thing that was said about LeBron in 2016 whilst leading everyone in everything that finals whilst knocking off a 73-9 squad without home court advantage
Sucks for Toronto, probably won't win again for another 20 years

Well Kawhi gave them one and that's one better than Utah

A title is a title. Trading their most popular player ever for Leonard paid off and that's all that matters for them.
Jalen Rose was 99% sure Kawhi would stay in Toronto

They have a great GM/president and the deepest pocketed majority owners in the NBA. I think they'll be alright in the long term. Their contract situation lines up perfectly with taking a shot at Giannis in a couple years. Usiri is the guy that helped Giannis's family get to Greece in the first place too.

Chris Carter as well acting like he was plugged in when he didn't know anything.

I do buy the part of the story Carter was saying about how the Lakers sending Magic actually hurt their chances of signing Kawhi.

Yeah, he was adamant that he was going to the Raptors.

I think its because Magic never knows when to STFU. Man loves to hear himself talk. Running to the LA Times and blabbing about evetything a day after probably didn't do the Lakers any favors.

No he wasn't.

What you talk'n about, Willis?

Giannis, lol....

If Golden State acquired him you'd be dropping a bigger load in your pants than Mayo. He's one of the NBA's brightest up and coming superstars.

Carter has been adamant that there was no favorite. He kept reminding people not to count out the Clippers and got crapped on for it.

What do you mean? It was reported he wanted to speak to Magic.
