Woj is best in game at breaking news.

Woj is probably the worst in the game at speculation...Which is what all of this is.

You're right. Chris is the worst.

Sean Deveney from Sporting News lost his job. Guys like Marc Stein were let go by ESPN (tho he got a job with NYT).

But we have all the buffoons like Broussard and the talking heads on Fox Sports.

How do these guys keep their jobs? Do people actually would rather click on their garbage than read or follow conscientious sportswriters?

It gets the clicks. You can say whatever the hell you want and toss in the word 'sources' and no matter what people will read it. It hasn't gotten much better of the years since twitter came about and you can get that quick thrill from reading 240 character tweet about your favorite. I only know all of this bc I am one of those guys that reads all the tweets about my favorite teams. WOJ is the only national guy I follow, mostly just local beat writers. I don't believe any of them, but I'll be damned if their false information is ever not a part of my every day on the can scrolling let me tell you

All the real writers went to the athletic. Just get a subscription. The rest are pretty much click bait, the writer equivalent of Stephen A Smith and Skip Bayless, just screaming stupidity and hoping to generate clicks.

Yeh I got an Athletic subscription. just kills me that there are enough humans on earth to click on the garbage hot takers.

Probably all Chinese.
do people honestly think Kawhi will take a lot less money to play for the Lakers? it's not like the dude is chasing an elusive championship or anything.

I doubt many people think it would make logic sense. But I think a lot of people realize Boardman is a weird alien who can be unpredictable, so who really knows what he decides to do. Apple time, apple time.
