Robots have no feelings either. Leonard's business decisions in the last couple of years have been about money. Dude is looking to set up for a great retirement. He's going to a team where he can maximize his brand and get paid the highest salary. I'm sure he would like to live in or near his $13m home so me thinks LAC or PHO is Lakers can't give him what he needs.

I doubt many people think it would make logic sense. But I think a lot of people realize Boardman is a weird alien who can be unpredictable, so who really knows what he decides to do. Apple time, apple time.

Plus, no one even truly knows how much cap space the Lakers will actually have. Lot of speculation lately. We will know soon. If max FAs are meeting with Lakers - then that means they can get the deal done. Simple as that. If they won't even meet with the Lakers - then Lakers gotta focus on filling out the roster.

He's lost a step but wants to leave a title contender with one of best players in the league despite needing a title? Former superstar who has fallen off but refuses to fall in line.

Won't happen but if Lakers strikeout on another star would they trade Kuzma, plus filler for Paul. He fits with LeBron and AD and Rockets get a guy who fits the system pretty well. Rockets could then use MLE to get Pat Bev back. That might keep them a contender.

Morey had no choice. Paul would have walked if he didn't get max. Rockets nearly took down GSW and letting Paul walk didn't give them enough to sign another max so they had to pay up knowing it'd hurt in the last 2-3.
