At this point in their career Westbrook is WAY WAY WAY more capable of guarding young, uber athletic guards on the perimeter. This isn't 2008. It's a joke you guys think Paul can play better defense than Westbrook now.

Paul picks and chooses also. Russ is asked to do everything so he has to conserve energy. Russ is hates by many people so he is taken for granted. I've seen him lock dudes down, and he can be a tenacious defender. Cp3 is not a good defender at this point of his career

I dont care what their ages are. Paul is still a better defender because Westbrook doesnt give a damn about playing defense. Maybe if he actually tried to play good defense I would change my mind.

No he isnt. He didnt go from being 1st team ALL Defense in 2017 to being a "poor defender" now. Nice try though

Sir, he is a totally different guy now. At his age, and frankly, his shape, each year is huge. Relatively speaking, he has been a bit soft physically compared to his peers (e.g. Russ). Cp3 is not beating Father Time and is not a good defender now. His past accolades aren't relevant in the 2019-20.

Here is the defense plus minus ratings for LAST season. You may notice Chris Paul is FIRST among PGs while Russell Westbrook is 32nd with a negative score. You are right about Rondo though. He was 78th. LOL
