I was hoping lakers will be able to use his salary as ballast in future trade. It was probably time to guarantee that contract - so they decided to waive him.

Ibaka is a must. Matthews, meh. We got plenty of guard depth. As long as we retain Rondo and Bradley. Bradley opted out though.

Either way, im okay with THT.

Wes did a pretty decent job against Kawhi. He's a good defender who can defend 2s and 3s very well.

I actually think Markieff is more valuable to our team than Dwight. Can guard more positions, can shoot. Dwight didn't play in the finals and barely played deep in playoffs IIRC.

But like 4ml said Wes and Schroeder great start, our defense is going to be so nasty.

Both McGee/Dwight are great regular season depth, but deep in playoffs they don't get a lot of run. Ibaka, and dare I say Marc gasol who can shoot imo are better options. We are so staunch defensively having guys that can spread floor is really key. Losing KCP we have to make up some scoring. Bogdan would help that lol
