2019-20 WORLD CHAMPION Los Angeles Lakers Thread

Yea I would take Gasol way over boogie. We don't even know what Boogie is going to be capable of doing. At least we know Gasol will be alive for the end of the season. He isn't the player he once was but can handle the grind in the paint and and spell AD on guys like Jokic. And he is smart of bball player to be at least respectable on offensive end. Idk i just trust him more at this point than Boogie.

The only reason Marc wasn't straight up benched is bc of the contract he had. He was just terrible last year. There are so many other bigs currently better than him.

Definitely not option 1. But if hes the cheapest and only avail I wouldn't be too mad is all I'm saying.
Trade McGee. Add TT and Giles on 1 yr. minimum deals.
There goes Rondo

Dwight got his ring and left us. Some players just don't like the type of pressure a Championship organization puts on them.

What I read was - he left due to playing time available. In Philly - he offered him more minutes. With Lakers - he probably once again plays 18-19mpg

That's about how many minutes he would play with the Sixers. Embiid is not gonna play less time and it would be difficult for those two to be on the floor. Sixers rely on PF that can stretch the floor...I'm just mad we lost him for a vet minimum and he fit so much better with us.

The Lakers overpaid for KCP but I am happy to have him back. This lakers roster could be better than last year which is crazy.

This team will be so much fun to watch!!!
Health permitting the Lakers have a great opportunity to repeat (and more, should things break the right way). It's about legacy, LeBron finishing his and AD building his own. There is a lot of competition out there for them to go through and I look forward to the ride.
