Yup LA has stacked 16 chips already. That is what they do. With LBJ Kawhi AD and Kuz they'll stack a few more. FAs will want to come and play in LA much more readily than they will up North. If Kawhi makes the selfish decision he will go home to Cali and do him. He can always do the 1 and 1 and opt out if he doesn't somehow like things in LA. He's going to Lakers and I have felt that way since he left SA. Plus they have legends like Shaq Kobe Magic and Kareem still walking around here. So many legends and the legacy. Reminds me of the Niners

Raptors aren't in position to potentially give him most championships in his career. Playing with AD for next 5-7 years will give him the best opportunity to win more championships imho.
Going to LA would give him the most opportunity for multiple championships. Even when James retires - Kawhi and Davis will still have them in the hunt.
I just hope he decides today so Lakers can start filling out the roster either way.
If he goes back to Canada, Lakers gotta go after some of these players:

Since I'm getting this question in volume, if Kawhi's decision goes longer than July 6, I'd except the Lakers to wait on executing the AD trade til he decides. Not much everyone can do about that, Pels have since agreed to move the pick to ATL with Solo, Solo then to Mem. Etc

I never knew he was pointing to his son. I always wondered who he pointed to because it was so high up in the stands instead of bench level.
