Also, like Lakers handing out only 2 year deals. These contracts are easy to trade and there will some pretty good FAs available in 2 years.

LoL. So when is Zion a FA

Good morning!

Damn. Losing out to the Clippers. How embarrassing.
Quinn Cook to the Lakers. 2 year, $6m deal.

Not happy, but i respect this decision from Kawhi. Hes not taking the easy road.
Laker fans were so confident they were getting Kawhi. This is awesome

Hopefully Kuzma is paying attention to all this talk and how nobody is really brining him up. 3rd year for him, i expect a big breakout season.

Green is a great signing. 2nd in the nba last season in catch and shooting 3s, 47.5%
Glad we got kcp. would like Lance back as well for cheap.

No Rondo though....ugh.

I'm not a Lakers fan but I can understand the disappointment in Lakers' fans. The media has been hyping that Kawhi to the Lakers was pretty much a done deal. It was just a matter of waiting for the official announcement.

I have to say though, I'm glad he didn't. I'm so sick of these super teams. I feel like it diminishes the game. Lakers will still be very competitive and Kawhi's decision will allow a more parity driven year, atleast in the western conference. It should make for some more exciting basketball, especially come playoff time. Good luck next year.

If you go back in this thread, most of us in here were obviously going to be happy if we got Kawhi, but many of us were saying its okay to not sign him, and build a strong supporting cast for Kuz, Bron, and AD. We are still the 2nd favorite to win it all, and the future looks bright with AD and Kuzma for the next 7+ years.

And i like how we match up with the Clippers. They might have the best 3 perimiter defenders in the league but we arent a perimiter team. AD is gonna be a huge matchup nightmare for them.
I knew Kawhi wasn't gonna sign with us he just isn't laker type of player. Dude doesn't like the attention and lakers always have the spotlight on them.
