Like the Cook pickup a lot. Will be a very underrated move.

Cook is a 42% career three point shooter and ranks in the 97th percentile as a spot up shooter, 68th percentile as the ball handler in pick and roll.

Clippers have no real Centers - Lakers need to go after Cousins and/or Marcus Morris. They've great perimeter defenders but they can't stop AD and if Lakers loads up on Center/PF positions.

If Lakers have AD, Cousins, McGee and the best Morris - they can really exploit Clippers' weakness.

Still got 10m in cap space.

I've been a big opponent of bringing Cousins to the Lakers. I always felt that if Cousins is your best player, you aren't going anywhere. He's on the downside of his career now and showed he can fall in line last year with the warriors. He's looking up at 2 Superstars again, like last year. I'm ok with him being here in his apparent role.
