Ya, I hate the Lakers but you never want to see stuff like this happen. I hope he can come back this season... But, coming off an ACL at the highest level of competition... doesn't seem to be realistic. It can be done.

I hate hearing the news about Boogie. He was a good Warrior and not the cancer that a lot of people thought he would be. I really hope he will be able to come back after next season and be close to the player he once was.

Doubt he will be ready. We need to look elsewhere this year. This sucks so bad!

The Boogie we know is gone sadly. He will be a good bench player, spot up 3 guy, 15 min a night. Those ACL injuries are gonna make him a even bigger liability on defense. Dont ever see him returning to 25 10 5 form.

Feel bad for Cousins. Maybe he has been an ass at times, but I don't doubt he works his ass off. Was hoping he was going to be a contributor to the Lakers.

I think the hard court is finally taking its toll. Big guy with leg injuries... pulling for him... but we've seen this story before.

I feel bad for Cousins. It's a bad break. But maybe he should stop being so chunky and out of shape. It's taking a big toll on his joints now. He is hurt 3 years in a row now including this coming year. 2 years he had to take much lower contracts than what he feels he is worth. Now he will have to do that potentially for a 3rd year after this coming season is over and the next one begins. He wanted all these big max contracts and how it is going to come down is 3 years in a row at much lower deals. To see if he can stay healthy. Maybe the lower contracts are what he is worth. You would have to say it is now. Because he keeps getting hurt every year.

Injuries always suck. Feel bad for him. Wish him a speedy recovery but he needs to be 100% before he even thinks about returning.

If I'm him - I'm not returning this year.

I would be very surprised if he played this season at all.

Yea...me too. Just saying - even if he's cleared and/or as much as he wants to return - he should sit out. He needs to take full 12 months off and rehab. Practice in controlled environment for a while before playing even in a dumb pickup game.
