I feel really bad for the guy. He was so close to a max and now he'll have to settle for journeyman money.

It's unfortunate - but, it's not like he was playing like he was prior to the Achilles and quad. He was still pretty much limping around out there with the Dubs.

He wasnt playing like he was, but people forget he was playing at a pretty high level down the stretch of the season. Looked like he knocked some rust off and was getting his legs under him. The playoff injury was really unfortunate as he was just starting to become a decent contributer.

Dwight Howard again? It's not so bad that he is not the focus of this team. I think DH and AD would be stout in the paint.

I think if you asked me if I could think of a player that I disliked more than Boogie, the only one in the history of my time as a fan of the NBA would be Dwight Howard.
All I keep thinking as these reports come out day after day of us signing these scrubs - why the f**k did we trade away Ivaca Zubac?

I don't even know what the hell he has been up to but I'd rather have Gortat over Noah just based off of offensive acumen. And I would rather either over a bag of doritos, and a bag of doritos over Dwight.

I don't know... probably not from a talent perspective... but, this team has personalities...that, well, are documented. There's only one King, and some on that team may not be as amicable to accepting this as others. Add guys like Howard to the mix and, well... could be a bad situation.
Houston (IMO) is in the same boat. I think Houston can actually take it if those two big names can play together... They've done it before... and Harden ended up on a different team.
We'll see... but that sucks for Cousins either way.

I'm okay with Noah or Dwight. Noah is a better fit but Dwight is a better player (considering both are healthy).
