De Gea is world class. With an improved defense, I think he will have a better season this year.

Based on last year - I don't think De Gea is the best goalie in EPL. The two Brazilian goalies at Liverpool and ManCity were as good if not better than De Gea last season imho. Just based on last season - I'd rate Alisson over Ederson and then De Gea.

Also, Oblak was hands down the best goalie in the World last year and it wasn't close. He was ridiculously good.

And, Ter Stegan was better than De Gea as well last year. As a Barca fan - I'd not swap Ter Stegan for De Gea.

And we will see how Neuer does this season. Last year was a lost year for him. I think he was the best goalie in the World before his injury.

All of this. Based on Last season, and some of the cracks De Gea was showing the season before that. Allison, Ederson, Oblak, Ter Stegan, possibly even Samir Handanović.

However, I'm willing to concede that with an improved Defense, he won't crack under the stress of carrying his team, and he might return to form.

Annoyingly good

Barca is offering 112 Mil + Rakitic and Coutinho for Neymar. I could see Coutinho and the money, but Rakitic? I wouldn't do it. Rakitic is too valuable in the midfield.
