Very few ppl are willing to cut the hand that's feeding them - especially for an issue that they don't care about or affects them in any way.

All these fools in the media criticizing the players are not criticizing their own company for being silent. Disney, Turner, NBC, Fox CBS all Broadcast NBA games and none of their CEO's said anything. But, they won't say s**t bc they may lose their jobs. Very easy to just blame the players. Easy cop out imho.

What is wrong with Doc's statement? He's right. Morey is right for saying what he said, but for the nba it's a tough issue because it's their 1b market and they can lose billions. His statement was honest and spot on
lol Lebron said the same thing but less eloquently and in too many words so ppl can parse every single word he used. He was stupid to use "misinformed" and "uneducated" but he essentially said...yes we have freedom of speech to tweet what we want but there can be negative consequences that comes with it.

Difference being - Doc was in LA this whole time and Lebron was in China.

The difference is Doc didnt try snitching to the league about Morey trying to get him and his team in trouble.

Lol he berated Morey and insulted him for making the tweet. Doc did the opposite.

Nope that's what he clarified. Clarification was - that Morey has a right to tweet...and he didn't mean that "Morey was right to say it" in his interview.

I don't pick up on that by reading Rivers' quote, but the Clips spokesperson was probably directed by the NBA to slant it that way. Reading Doc's statement, it's pretty clear what he's saying

Doc can come out and say he meant what he said and clarification was not needed.

Doc did say what he meant, and the NBA made someone else (not doc) clarify it. The NBA and Bron don't want anyone to even say that "Morey was right for what he said."

Or he read the transcript of his interview on social media and realized he was gonna get bant from China - he sent his minion to clarify it.

It's ok though - Doc will interview again. He can clarify the clarification anytime, if needed. Till then, I'm going with revised statement.

The reason you're going with the revised statement is because in some odd way you think it helps out bron... fascinating the mental relationship you have with Bron. And you're a good poster and know hoops, but the thing with Bron is pretty next level.
