***2019-2020 NBA REGULAR SEASON THREAD***

Comparing Doc and Lebron's comments is laughable. Doc said he's got free speech but there can be consequences to it. No judgment though on that. He's not suggesting he's wrong or deserves punishment. Just acknowledging his tweet created a sh storm.

Summing up LBJ's comment now. He's an idiot, was only thinking about himself and yeah free speech has consequences when you disregard others.

Happy for Beal to get that extension. Also, this likely means he's not getting traded anytime soon to the Western conf. Thought Wizards are dumb enough to trade him for DLo + a pick or two...or trade him to Portland for CJ + a pick...hopefully that's out of the question.
Buddy Hield turned down a 4 year 90 million dollar contract

Dumbass.

Actually makes sense to me. He's a better player than Harrison Barnes and imo top 5 shooter (who can create a shot for himself) in the league.

Shooting is at premium in his league - quite sure if he stays healthy - he'll get bigger offer in a weak 2020 FA.

But he should be getting more than that from them...

Yea as a Kings fan, I agree. He has the leverage

22+ million seems pretty fair for a 1st contract after rookie deal

But for a city like Sacramento, they should be offering more. Its not like they're gonna bring in any big named free agents.

It has to be the years he doesn't like. Probably wants that 5 year deal. The year per average is very close

I think he can get that D'Lo money. 4 years about $115M. If Mavs or Heat offer him that bag - he saves like another 10m in taxes.

If he has countered Kings with 4 year 110m - they should sign him (I'm sure they can negotiate a little here). That's a great deal for an elite shooter - who can score at all 3 levels and doesn't need a pg to create shots for him.
I wish I could be disrespected with $90 million

lol

Pay him $25M for 5

4/$110M is the absolute max he can sign for. They probably settle at 4/$95M
