Kerr is clearly trying to find the right combination of youth and experience. This is always a tough time for any dynasty. When do you trade aging players that have been the core of championships? Which young players are going to be part of the future?

But the best basketball decision would be to trade him too if he wants a deal moving forward that equals what Green just got.

The Warriors have a lot of depth but they clearly dont have a roster that can win an NBA title or win more than 1 playoff series. Something needs to be done but I'm not sure they will pull the trigger.

I see them being loyal to both Green and Klay, should send off Wiggins, CP3, and add Moody bc Kerr barely plays him, them 3 plus picks should get us a nice player, I still have faith in this team if we make a legit trade. We aren't far away from contention in my eyes, the top teams in the west don't scare me. BUT WE NEED A LEGIT TRADE BADLY !

Some people may look at this team as deep. I look at them as perhaps the least athletic team in the league, unable to defend anyone, and likely to not make the playoffs unless Draymond comes back and really sparks the team. I dont think they are close to being a contender as things stand right now and unless Kuminga is included in a trade I dont see them having the ammunition to get an impact player.
Klay may be the worst overall player on the team now. Unless he is on his occasional hot streak he is worthless at this point. His minutes need to be drastically cut in favor of GP2, Pod, and Moody. At least they can defend and not throw up terrible shots.

I would not give Klay a big contract after this season so it makes sense to move him if you can get back a player who can help them now and down the road. Moving Klay gives Moody, GP2, and Pod more minutes which is a good thing in my opinion. Klay is just not a great overall player anymore and really only helps the team when he is hot on 3s. Otherwise he is a liability.

I agree with you on green he is too much of a distraction.

Tonight will be the 10th game of Draymond Green's indefinite suspension. Steve Kerr said Green still hasn't been in the facility. They've had some text communication. But no next step update as of now.
