Golden State Warriors Talk

thank you Steve Kerr
If I were a GM of another team, I'd sign Anthony lamb and trade him for Kuminga/Moody.

Kerr would be elated for that deal and might even tell MDJ to throw in a couple 1st rounders to get Lamb back.
Kerr can't develop young talent
KErr is a f**king idiot.

Kerr on Kuminga

"He was playing great. His normal time to go back in would have been around the five-, six-minute mark (of the fourth). (Andrew Wiggins) was playing great, we were rolling, were up 18, 19, whatever it was. So we just stayed with him. Then at that (later) point, it didn't feel like the right thing to do. He had been sitting for a while. So I stayed with the group that was out there, and obviously, we couldn't close it out."

That was a stunning loss. The combination of Denver tightening up th defense and the Ws going stone cold was hard to watch. Kerr is getting a lot of heat from fans but he's in a position that he hasn't faced before. The team is in transition with aging vets mixing with younger players. Kerr is trying different combos to see what works and what doesn't. He's probably looking beyond this year knowing that a couple of vet are going to be gone after this season
Nah. Kerr doesnt do that and sitting Kuminga in favor of Saric and Wiggins proves that out. Right now he is clueless on who to play in my opinion and sitting JK for virtually the entire 2nd half was so bad.

I disagree that Kerr isn't aware that they're in a transition period. He's trying to see what groupings work together but he knows that Paul and Wiggins are probably gone next year. Meanwhile he has to try and win this year while getting a good look at the younger guys. Maybe Kuminga should have been in there but would it have mad ea difference? They Ws couldn't score and they couldn't stop Denver. It was like a landslide. It was Curry that made that stupid cross court pass that allowed Denver to get off one last shot.
LOL at this post. If he was trying to see what they had for the future and not only concerned about last night he wouldnt have had Wiggins and Paul playing at the end and JK on the bench.

Not maybe. Kuminga should have been in there. 16-4-4 in 19 minutes. We needed more of that production that Kuminga was giving us. It was also Kuminga getting Murray foul trouble in the third quarter that flipped momentum to us.
EXACTLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can you imagine Kerr saying that Klay was playin great and putting him back in wasnt the right thing to do because he had been sitting awhile? Just a BS comment and terrible logic. He should know that Kuminga is VERY important to this teams success and should be doing everything possible to build his confidence and make him want to play for the Warriors long term.

We'll never be able to attract younger players if Kerr remains and Kuminga/Moody are shipped out.
Reminds me of the Don Nelson/Chris Webber fiasco in 1998...had to choose between the popular coach and the up and coming superstar...and chose the coach.
Big mistake. If you don't learn from history, you are condemned to repeat it!
Kerr must have dementia. He thinks its 2017.
What I dont understand about Kerr is why he believes Wiggins and Kuminga cant play together. I would think JK can easily play the 4 while Wiggins plays the 3. Why not play the 2 most athletic guys on the team at the same time?

The Warriors are undefeated when JK plays 30+ minutes so he needs to start and play a lot. So, if Kerr cant change his thoughts on Wigs and JK playing together then Wiggins needs to be traded. The sooner the better

I don't see how the entire team hasn't. Kerr stood by idly and let the Nuggets erase a 18 point lead with just under 7 minutes to go. The only thing he did of note was some chin wagging with Jokic about flopping. He needs to worry about what his own team is and isn't doing and less about the opponent's tactics.
