Golden State Warriors Talk

They're lucky Steph didn't demand a trade yet, especially after dropping 60 and still losing. I really don't think they're gonna make a trade, what are they waiting for? Klay spent too much time boasting about his past and now he's just jacking up stupid ass shots whenever he has the ball. CP3 was our only valuable trade chip and he broke himself. I don't think they're crazy enough to trade Kuminga and Wiggins has zero value. With no draft picks it's gonna be tough sledding for a few years I think unless TJD and PODZ continue to get better. Try have the makings of a decent rebuild with Kuminga, Steph still being great and Draymond is still a great fascilitator but outside of that we got nothing
Pretty telling that Santos was in the game in the deciding minutes tonight instead of Klay. I feel bad seeing Klay play now.

Kuminga and Pod were excellent again and it's fun watching these 2 young kids progress.
Sounded like Klay was about to cry. Can't help but to have rooted for him, two bad injuries and came back to win a title. He can still contribute, just not at the level he once did. Klay is caught in a tough spot. Everyone has bad games, but he gets put under a microscope.

I feel for him as well. I think he made a mistake turning down the 2/48 but I guess we'll see what happens.
Damn. Feel bad for em but he needs to understand his role and come off the bench like Iggy did for us. I feel we could have 5-6 more wins just without him on the floor. Maybe more.

He takes awful shots and often kills the ball movement.
I really do feel like offensively Klay can still contribute, he just has to have better shot selection. He settles for the quick and often time contested shots without any ball movement.

Easier said than done but he needs to play team ball instead of hero ball.
The warriors need to take Klay away from the media and let him sort his head out. He's doubting himself, he doesn't need the media doubting him as well. I don't think they should give up on him, but they shouldn't let the media come after him like this whenever he has a bad game

At this point I wouldn't mind trading him. He's no longer the force he was either offensively or defensively.
Klay just needs to adapt his game. Ray Allen was an All Star level player, and then at the end of his career, he changed his game to be more of a spot up shooter off the bench. Klay can be great at that role, but he needs to adapt. He cant continue to play like he did in his prime, because the skills just arent there anymore. But the shooting can be.
I wouldn't trade him. Klay is a glue guy and a huge reason the warriors are so chill, Steph wouldn't be happy, I think the core is very serious about keeping it together. Klay just needs to be real with himself and take a step back into an Iggy type role.

Yes but I am not sure Klay has the ego to be able to take a lesser role or think his game needs changing. We shall see. In my opinion, the Warriors should bring him off the bench and just put Pod in the starting rotation . Assuming there are no trades I would like Paul leading the 2nd unit and setting up Klay for open looks.

Its funny. Just today Marcus Thompson echoed my comments in his new article.

He didnt bring up Ray Allen or anything like that, but he basically said he needs to change how he plays and he could still be a really effective piece of a team.

putting him on the 2nd unit with CP when he gets back might be the move if he can accept that. let podz run with Steph and kuminga and have cp3 set up Klay against less talented perimeter defenders when Steph is off the court.
Incredible wiggs curtain call performance
