Golden State Warriors Talk

Steph is killing us
16 turnovers.

The Warriors two biggest problems killed them again tonight in their biggest game of the year. When you turn the ball over and cant defend the 3 its going to result in a loss most of the time.

Can't stand the TOs - makes it very tough to watch this team at times playing such carefree basketball. Steph can't turn it over seven times.

Turn overs have always been an issue with this team but they've managed to win a lot by outscoring the opponent. The way they push the ball up the court and throw those cross court passes is going to result in more TOs. They sometimes manage to adjust and cut down on the risky passes in the 2nd half. They usually win if they can keep the TOs under 12 for the game. Lately they've been getting close to 10 in the first half.

Someone needs to remind the Dubs that to win a lot you have to outscore your opponent. That's important!

Looks like we're resting everyone tomorrow instead of banking on help to get the 8th. Probably not a bad idea since we never win at home anyway lol. Road warriors in the playoffs might do damage lol.

I know that sounded crazy but it's true. They commit all those turnovers and give the other team a lot of extra shots. They win by hitting a higher percentage and more 3s. They very seldom win at the line. Without the turnovers they wouldn't need to hit so many 3s to stay in the game. Unfortunately that's the style they play and we've had to live through it for a few years. Steph is one of the worst offenders. He makes a lot of crazy passes. He also make a lot of crazy shots.

They're a fun team to watch and a frustrating team at the same time. One thing that may help in the playoffs is their defense. That's been good in the last month.

8th seed is the one all four teams want.

7th seed = Denver. I think the lakers would rather play them in the first round and be done with it
This Warriors team is good enough to beat nearly every team except maybe the Nuggets where they have nobody to match up with Joker. They're also sloppy enough to lose in the first round. It depends on which team shows up. Take care of the ball and get to the free throw line and they have a chance to advance. Turn the ball over 15-20 times and allow the other team to shoot 15-20 more free throws and they're almost sure to lose. It's simple math. Unfortunately they are often outshot on the free throw line by a wide margin which means they have to hit more 3s to stay in the game.
