Looks like Looney will be back after all. He's not that expensive an they really don't have a big replacement for him

Loon doesn't make a lot but it could also be a salary matching piece as well in a larger trade.
Klay on the other hand is gonna end up resigning for much less than he thinks he's worth. Orlando doesn't seem like they want to pay that much or for that long so it's either here or some garbage ass team that will overpay for him possibly

If Looney is traded they're going to need a replacement for him. Someone to rebound and defend the bigger players. He's marginal in that area but he's their best option. The league is changing and big men that can shoot are the name of the game now. Small lineups are no longer in vogue.

Exactly. Loon was barely good at that last year too. He aged worst thank Klay did. He couldn't even get on the floor last year

All the talk has been about PG13 getting traded to us, assuming it would be structured around CP3, looney, and others.
i wonder if we could still afford Klay in that scenario

If we can land PG13
i would like to get some pieces from the Nets Fire Sale, notably DFS or Bogan.
Klay coming back would seal the deal then

Dubs need to find a way to trade or buy their way into a higher pick in the second round and get Kyle Filipowski. A center with a brain who can shoot 3s would do sooooo much for this team.
Is landing Paul George, Kyle Filipowski and a decent wing too much to ask for?

They play in the east where there aren't guys like Wemby and Jokic. The Celtics have a big shot blocking rim protector. Porzingas. He was injured much of the year but he made his presence known in the opening of the finals. Small lineups worked for quite some time but things are always changing. Big men that can shoot the 3 from outside and attack the boards are becoming a trend. They didn't have big guys that could shoot like ths a few years ago and they weren't as mobile either.

If only we could have found a team that would have traded us Porzingis for Jordan Poole. Oh wait.

Golden State is trading no. 52 to OKC for Lindy Waters, sources tell @YahooSports.

Don't know anything about Lindy Waters. Will have to do some research. I wonder if the Dubs will consider buying into the 2nd Rd. at some point if a guy they really like is still on the board.

The Warriors traded cash to reacquire the 52nd pick and drafted Quinten Post, per source. That officially hard caps the Warriors at the second apron. They are now unable to go over it this season (which was the plan regardless).
