Moody doing work

Let's see if Kerr keeps his word about Moody being a rotational player this year.
There are 13 players on the roster worth playing every night. I like Moody but he is 11th or 12th man in my opinion and will have games where he rides the bench. I dont think he is going to be ahead of Pod, Melton, Hield, Payton, Wiggins, or JK at the 2 or 3 spots.

Moody making that decision hard for Kerr

He's been having a terrific preseason, I think Payton is the odd man out until he shows he has fully recovered.

GP is always hurt lately. Neil's is gonna be 6th man most nights. I moody has been playing lights out tho, he should be getting regular minutes
Also if Wiggins having his injury history recently/family leave, moody could get some minutes there if Wiggins is out again (or more likely, just rusty)

honestly, whoever gives us the most defense with the ability to consistently hit threes, should get the most time
Oh snap, moody minutes might be a thing

It's funny you say this, because I want Moody to start LOL

I really like Moody but its a numbers game. I seriously doubt he will start and the Warriors are really deep. No way Wiggins, Pod, Melton, Hield, or JK sit. Maybe GP2 will be the odd man out but the Warriors have always been more effective with him on the court. Its going to be tough for Kerr to decide what to do for minutes

I get it. Thats why I said that we needed to get more top heavy than deep.

Curry
Moody
Wiggins
Kuminga
Draymond

Pod
Melton
Hield
Anderson
TJD

GP2
Looney

I dont love Draymond starting at the 5, and would prefer he plays the 4 and TJD starts. But I dont see Wiggins coming off the bench. We have too many guys and not enough stars at the top of the depth chart.

Wiggins has his good stretches but I don't have a lot of confidence n him over the long haul. Almost certain to miss some games with injury/illness/family issues.
If Moody keeps this up, I think Kerr will be quicker to sub some of guys who are inconsistent. Same for Moody. I think these past few years we've seen Kerr stick with certain guys in slumps, tho it didn't make sense at times (Ty Jerome, lamb, over moody/JK), but this year we have a deeper bench

He isnt going to sit thats for sure and the Dubs need Wiggins to have a big year if they are going to be a strong playoff contender.
