Was it great Cavs play, bad Warriors play … or a little of both? I missed the game.

Too much size. We can't match their physicality up and down the lineup.

Dubs ran into a Buzzsaw last night!
The Cavs gave the Warriors a taste of their own medicine; no excuses.
Beside Cleveland looking as if they are the best team in the NBA at the moment,
did the grind of the road trip have any effect - Y/N, maybe so. Still, that 1st half was brutal !!!
Oh well, it's on to OKC ...

Give Atkinson some credit too, our former coaches have been whopping our ass (see Mike brown)
Would have been awesome to beat Cavs, but beating the thunder more ide

They did well to end the game within 20 points after trailing by 41 at the half.

Both. Warriors got manhandled like ragdolls in first half. 3rd quarter was all Warriors and they got more points than Cavs in the 4th even tho Kerr didn't play Curry, Dray, I think Wiggs too and a couple other guys. Kerr probably decided not to try to cover the deficit, rest some guys and get ready for Oklahoma
They jumped on them too fast/hard in the first half. Warriors just couldn't come close to the Cav's intensity until it was too late in the 2nd half. The 2nd meeting between them won't be anything like last night, Warriors will learn and be much better.

The warriors are top 3 in offense and defense. In a 7 game series we smack them. It was an off night

It is certainly no given that the Warriors are a top 6 team in the West and avoid the play in. That is how strong the West is. Right now there are 11 teams with winning records.
Love the Dubs and I do think their roster is better than last year. But I won't overreact when 5 of their wins are against teams with combined records of 10-26.

Coming off 3 road games and facing the best (for now) team in the league (again on the road), Warriors shooting poorly (in first half) while Cavs had their best (first half) shooting performance in God knows how long... the bold will not happen in a 7 game series. Cavs still had their starters in late while Warriors out played them with bench players in 2nd half. I believe Warriors will spank them on 12/30 in SF.
Cavs play in soft east, their next 4 games is a cakewalk (teams going nowhere). Warriors still on the road, their next 3/4 games look to be playoff teams all from the tougher west. The east is terribly weak right now. Cavs have 11 wins, Celtics have 8. Everyone else has 4 or less wins. The West is dominant. Warriors just had an awfully off game on the road against a really good team (plus going against HC / Jerome with something to prove).
Why Kerr had 4 non shooters with Curry as the only true shooter in the first half is beyond me, but I know he's still experimenting like a weird, mad scientist. I gotta believe Kerr will finally come up with his starting line up that makes the most/best sense by March/April (while still experimenting rotations).
We're not even 15 games into the season, not even Christmas, not even trade deadline, but yet here we are doubting big time..................

Who is doubting " big time"? I think the Warriors have a better overall roster than last year and hopefully will make the top 6 in the very tough West and avoid the play in games. But the West is sick in talent and I could easily see them finishing anywhere from 4th to 10th. Health will be the key.
Reality is, however, that they have played a pretty easy schedule so far. Boston was missing Porzingis and Brown so it's hard to really judge that game. They blew a 31 point lead against Houston and had to go to overtime. Cleveland is a very tough matchup with their size and youth and it showed.
I do think the Warriors match up much better against OKC and believe this can be a competitive game. Even if they lose it has been a successful road trip. A win makes it fantastic. But either way I won't overreact. It's too early to really know how good the Dubs will be.
