Exactly. Dude flashes for three games and then goes back to being mediocre and everyone is supposed to be super hyped on him

I dont think his style of play is suited for Kerr's system. If Kuminga can consistently hit threes and mid range, he would be dynamite in this offense.

i think he is at his best when he has the ball in his hands and can go down hill, which we may need for a few games, but ultimately that works because of shooters in our offense (Steph, hield, klay, etc) and constant movement (which usually goes away when JK isos). If he isn't out there with two shooters, the defense can easily collapse.

When did Alex Smith flash for three games and then go back to being mediocre? He would flash for a play every few games and go back to being a replacement level QB.

Huuuuuuge difference.

We have to realize that Kumnga is still learning. He didn't go to college so he was very raw. The important thing is seeing improvement each year.

Which we indisputably have.

Same. He was a critical piece for the win.

There is no doubt that Kuminga is improving. He gives the team something no other player on the team can give and that is someone who can take the ball to the hoop and score inside the lane. He is easily the most athletic guy out there and its not even close. I would be ok trading him but it better be for a real difference maker

I would be fine trading him too. But it would have to be a team changing player....which I am not sure is going to be out there.

In my opinion they can do better. I would trade him for picks and a solid player and then use the picks to make a real splash to get Steph some more fire power to work with or a center/PF to put us over the top. I like Kuminga but the waiting and potential and what ifs are annoying. He's coming up on a new contract and he hasn't earned it. He's had tons of opportunities to assert himself as a necessary piece and he hasn't. His iso style slows down our offense. Dude is a ball stopper and our offense doesn't work like that

He averaged 16ppg as a 21 year old last year. My question is (and I am not trying to be a dick), how many 21 year olds or younger averaged 16ppg other than Wemby and Kuminga? Maybe one more?

I get he is no where close to a finished product, but he has gotten better every single year. If he finishes the season averaging, say, 18ppg, will he have earned a new contract to you?

Given the Poole situation (complicated by the punch), I think Dubs are cautious about rewarding max players. Poole regressed two years post contract and now is starting to play a bit better

I didnt get what he was saying but it makes sense now. Klay wanted to go to a contender for another shot at a title. Curry and Draymond took it personally. I hope they ride that all the way to a chip this year. They haven't looked this hungry in a while
I just checked the standings and it's really amazing. Only 3 teams in the Eastern conference with a winning record compared to 11 in the Western conference. Every team in the Warriors division is .500 or better.

Bruh I couldn't believe that. I've never seen Curry that passionate about an early season game. I miss Klay but I'm also happy he moved on. All those crazy leaner shots he was bricking were killing us last year.

Klay could get red hot like he did when he scored 37 in one quarter but he was also sometimes MIA. Since his injuries he isn't nearly the defensive player he was so it's make 3s or nothing.
