And now, it's back on the road playing back-to-back games, against the Pelicans and Spurs.
Then back home for more Nets and Thunder basketball. Who makes these schedules !?

I'm not going to put too much stock into last night. The offense stalled in 4th. As good as OKC is on defense they aren't bottling up every single player on the floor if Curry's out there.

Stalle? They were 5-22 until the last minute. The only reason they didn't get smoked was the Warriors defense kept getting stops. I couldn't believe the shots the Ws were missing. Layups. Short jumpers. Three pointers. Dunks. Nothing was going in.

Jalen Williams didn't finish the game, which helped us get closer. But agreed a better defense effort compared to last few nights

On that note, is Kuminga actually worth a damn? He's supposed to be this otherworldly athlete but he keeps settling for terrible shots and looks completely out of control when he's handling the ball. I'm kind of over this dude.
y'all were getting on me earlier in the year about being harsh on Kuminga but this is who he is. one or two good plays/games then the boneheaded ball handling and ugly shots he takes regularly. this loss sucked but we all know this is a win if Curry even got ten minutes last night. this team is not bad, they're just old and Kerr can blow out curry in November. he's gotta manage Steph because he's our cash cow. we only go as far as he does

If OKC had a healthy Holmgren and Williams for the entire game they beat the Dubs regardless if Curry played. You can play the IF game all day long but the game was there for the taking. I have no idea why Hield was on the bench for crunch time when it was obvious they needed a shooter in the game. I know he had 5 fouls but not having him in the game hurt badly

Kuminga started horribly but actually played a decent game overall.

Kuminga should've been traded for a picks or a mid tier player. He's never gonna be more than what he is right now. They definitely lack the size for teams like this but I wouldn't say they would walk away with it.

Just a ridiculous statement to say he will never be more than he is now when he is only 22 years old .

Let me hear who you think is a "mid tier" player and who they should have traded JK for as was actually available

They can't get anyone mid tier because the contract matching won't line up. What they can do is trade him to someone who believes he will be an all star some day and get some first rounders for him to price match with melton and maybe another player to get a difference maker to help Steph. Kuminga has been in the nba for four years and still looks like he has no chill. We need to win now before Steph starts to slow down, they can't just wait and hope that he becomes that dude forever

If you can get "some first round pick s and another player that would get a true difference maker I'd be fine with that. I'd need to hear who such difference maker is.

Feels weird not being the pessimist about my team. Regardless, I enjoy your negativity. I cannot abide Homerism.

Literally picks and anything to match his salary dude. He's not in their plans or they would have extended him instead of extending Moody to ride the bench. Kuminga is trade bait if we remain close to a playoff team. They should've went in on Brandon Ingram in the offseason or Jimmy Butler to give us a legit threat with Steph. Staying put is a huge mistake, they're just gonna let him walk in the offseason. He hasn't shown enough to make what he thinks he's worth and every time he gets a chance to show out he ends up back on the bench

Don't understand the defensive gameplan of leaving Grayson Allen open
Gonna be .500 in week at this rate

Where they probably will end up unless a trade is made. Not big, not quick, can't defend 3s, and desperately need another shooter.
