Strange 2 game series. How often does a team play the worst team and then the best team on back to back nights and win both by similar scores.
Kevon Looney deserves a big shout out. I wish the Warriors had 15 guys with his attitude, I just love the way he plays. Never complains about playing time. Never holds out. Never acts like a hot dog on the court. Willing to do the dirty work. Just a professional in every way. It's too bad more athletes don't play like him. He often outplays guys that are bigger and more talented just by out hustling them. He gives maximum effort every time he's on the floor.
He's an old soul and a fun player to watch in this era of look at me athletes.

Couldn't have said it better, Loon is so slept on and a huge reason we won the last three rings. I'm not sure but he has to be one of the top guys for rebounds per minutes played. Dude is always in the right spot and such a low key just great team first dude

Steph can still help win a championship...just not with this group. Cherish the memories and move on.

I'd rather try to get Curry help on this team unless FO guys are committed to lottery picks next 3-4 years (and lacob is cool with Oracle prices for a while)
We couldn't get curry any looks in the first half, teams are guarding him like he is 2016 Steph, leaving others wide open (bricks)

There's a lot of bad teams not going anywhere, is it going to be difficult for Dubs to sign a decent center (rim protector/D, rebounds, dunks) from one of those teams that won't cost too much (picks/players)?
And then there's this https://www.yahoo.com/sports/warriors-look-wizards-star-scorer-102339553.html

Posted on the lakers thread but trading Unibrow for Doncic and a whole lot of other dudes in a 3 way is trouble for the Warriors. Why can't we get creative and swing like that. I wonder how Klay feels? I thought Luka was untouchable as a Maverick.

How significant do you think those moves would change the outcome of rest of the season / playoff chances?
West is so compact this year that you have a shot you take it, things can break your way (see 2019 Raptors)

I suspect it may have something to do with money. The NBA rules for trades are really weird. When trades go down in the NBA it's often a 3 team deal. Two main players and another one to take the castoffs that are necessary to make the deal work financially. Max contracts. Two way deals. Salary cap that allows you to go over if you are willing to pay the luxury tax. Often there are some 1st round draft picks involved but they can be protected. Lot's of complications.
