Bruh how we can't trade for anyone but every other FO just pulls off a random ass trade machine deal lmao

I suspect it may have something to do with money. The NBA rules for trades are really weird. When trades go down in the NBA it's often a 3 team deal. Two main players and another one to take the castoffs that are necessary to make the deal work financially. Max contracts. Two way deals. Salary cap that allows you to go over if you are willing to pay the luxury tax. Often there are some 1st round draft picks involved but they can be protected. Lot's of complications.

Could have swapped cp3 and lavine last year, didn't. Could have rehabbed lavine and either kept him or packaged him for something bigger

Lakers pulled off an"two timeline" play during ours lmao at lacob

Do you have a link that says the Warriors turned down Paul for Lavine?

Golden State turned down a trade offer from the Chicago Bulls that would have sent guard Zach LaVine to the Bay, TNT's Chris Haynes reported Sundayon NBA TV's "Free Agent Fever."

"I was told the Chicago Bulls were trying to get something going with the Golden State Warriors, trying to get a Zach LaVine package together," Haynes said. "What I was told was it could have been a Zach LaVine for a Chris Paul or Andrew Wiggins. The Warriors, from how it was explained to me, the Warriors, they didn't feel that was an adequate amount for a deal structure, so things didn't go as planned, so that fell through, which led to the Golden State Warriors choosing to release Chris Paul.

"And I was told it was Mike Dunleavy the general manager who called Chris Paul and gave him the news."

The offer, as Haynes reported, consisted of either Paul or Wiggins with other assets potentially involved.

It depends on what other assets were involved which isn't clear. The reason every team hasn't jumped on Lavine is because of his enormous contract and his injury history. He is certainly a great scorer but is mediocre or worse at everything else and will be 30 at the start of the yr.

I'm not a big fan and would hate to see the Warriors overpay and include Wiggins in a deal for him
Welp kangz making moves

out of the four CA teams, our future looking the least brightest

lacob gotta make a move or get left in dust

Kings got a haul of draft picks and did the best they could given the fact that Fox didn't want to sign an extension. But they won't be as good this year in my opinion. That simply is a terrible defensive team with Sabonis, DeRozan, and Lavine. Fox is a special player and I think the Spurs win in that deal if he signs long term.

I dont disagree that the Warriors future isn't bright. Tough for teams to stay on top forever and the Dubs had an amazing stretch. I can see being a bottom feeder in a couple of years when Steph and Dray are done.

Lmaooooooo

we back to "it's a great time out" era

we cooked

You actually want that cancer on the Warriors? f**k Jimmy Butler. He wasn't going to make the Dubs title contenders anyway.

Ironically, KD is the only one that would be worth it but I don't see how we would have enough to convince Phoenix…
Lacob would probably be happy if Steph asked for a trade at this point lol
My guess is the Dubs will trade for Vucevic and probably that will be it. I dont know who would go back because salaries have to match. Looney would have to be included i would think.
I think we'll just end up dumping salaries tbph wherever we can

calling everyone just for Lacob to say no, can't include Kuminga, podz, tjd, or picks

lmao. Gonna try to hunt for a Luka deal, but I doubt any other GM is that dumb
