Yep but his ego couldnt take it that the Dubs were Stephs team and would never be his. Now he would join a Dubs team that would be seriously damaged with the assets they would have to give back to get him. I think it would take something like Wiggins or Draymond, Kuminga, Schroder, and Pod to get it done. The salaries match and I would have to think Phoenix would ask for our best young players.

Can't picture this working out. KD's ego would be badly bruised coming back, and he's on the verge of being "fragile".

Can't picture this working out. KD's ego would be badly bruised coming back, and he's on the verge of being "fragile".

I'm not in favor of it only because it could hurt the team idown the road. Even with Durant I don't think this team is good enough to win an title, especially if they have to give up Wiggins and Kuminga and whatever else would be necessary.

Just wait until the Bucks get bounced from the playoffs in embarrassing fashion, and try to make a move for Giannis in the offseason. Nothing, including trading for KD, will change the fortunes of this team this year.

Joe Lacob finding out in real time how difficult it actually is to acquire top-level talent after squandering the last few years of Steph waiting for his two-timeline bullsht to pan out is pretty fun to watch. I do feel for Steph though.
