I agree with their needs but theres no way in hell that trade would land the Greek Freak.

I agree as well its just fun to speculate there's no way Bucks would trade Giannis. Just a fun video to watch on some possible trade scenarios the Warriors could do. If the season is truly cancel a big win for the Warriors because this season is basically a throw away year at the same time got some assets back for KD. The most likely start for next is on December that will helps Klays recovery process and even Looney's injury plague season hopefully he comes back to what he was last year.

There would be much better offers out there. When you trade for the best player in the game you will give up more than a 1st round pick and a Wiggins lol. He won't be playing along Klay, that's for sure. Klay, Wiggins, and a couple 1st round picks would be necessary.

I've heard other people say this exact thing, and no one has been able to come up with something better (not saying you specifically cant, just saying you nor anyone else has).

So, since you believe there would be much better offers out there, can you give us a couple examples? Would be very curious to hear what you think.

I don't see this trade going through at all without Klay being the centerpiece. Wiggins is a good player, but he's a 3rd option at best on a championship team, and draft picks are never a guarantee. GS is one of those teams that have the most to offer, but like I said, Klay would have to be part of that deal. Teams like Boston or Den also have a lot of good players they can offer, and someone like Murray or Tatum is much better than Wiggins. Then you also have teams like the Sixers with Simmons. I'm sure another team could also get involved. Nobody saw Kawahi going to Toronto that year.

And that Kawhi trade really changed how a lot of GM think now. If they feel like they can win a championship even though Giannis might just be a 1 year rental, they will do it.

Then you also have the financial reason. Even if GS could pull of a trade without Klay, and the NBA wouldn't try and Chris Paul it, does ownership want to go so deep into the luxury tax again? Steph is making 45 mil, Klay 35, Dray 25, Giannis will be 45 mil. That's 50 mil over the cap on just those 4 players.

And this would be even more, close to 400$ million.

Outside of Balmer, no other owner is willing to lose that much money.

However, I havent seen anyone come up with a suggested package that comes close to what the Warriors could offer. And even in your response to me, you didnt have a specific idea. You just listed certain players and reasons why the Bucks wouldnt take a Klayless offer.

The other thing, you need to let the Chris Paul thing go man. That has absolutely zero relevance to this topic, and competitive balance of the league had absolutely nothing to do with that trade being vetoed.

I hear you on the money thing. I am not a cap expert in the slightest bit. But I do believe if we are looking at the trade itself in a vacuum, the Warriors could offer the most tempting package.

Well just because GM's aren't running to the media and telling them what kind offer they would make for Giannis, doesn't mean they aren't out there or wouldn't exist. Some of those players that I mentioned + multiple 1st round picks, is just flat out better than Wiggins + a top 3 pick in such a weak draft as this. And I'm not sure what you mean by a specific idea though...Just named a couple of teams that could offer more than GS, unless Klay is part of that Wiggins + 1st round pick deal. If Giannis would actually ask for a trade, there would be a lot of teams interested, and those teams wouldn't have anywhere near the $400 mil luxury tax issue either.

I don't think it's happening either, but the hypothetical trade isn't Wiggins + a 1st. It's Wiggins plus THREE 1sts. Our own this season, Minnesota's next season and our own in 2022. Probably throw some 2nds in there since we have a bunch of those.
