Damn. If only we had a David Robinson/Tim Duncan scenario.

This ain't a big mans game anymore... but also do you really think a guy who barely played in college at all will be any much of an impact at the pros? History is against him and his position he plays. But just from the sample that I have seen...I wouldn't touch Wiseman at all.

From what I seen of him, he has all the tools to be a top NBA center, there are still a lot of very good centers that are very hard to deal with in the NBA, I don't feel comfortable having to trot Looney and Chriss at Center having to guard Embid, Jokic, Towns, Jordan, Capela.

Big man position is making a comeback now and you need good bigs to win. They dont need to be your offense anymore, especially the traditional post up big man, thats dead.

Now they need to be able to defend well and run the floor, or shoot well, or even be a ball handler, that's where the C/PF position will be at going forward.

All in on Edwards. Not sure why anyone would have the opinion that there is nothing in this draft that can help long term.

If you look at the draft, especially the past 10 years, I haven't looked longer than that, but you will not find one draft class that sucked and didn't produce at least a couple of all star players.

2013 draft is considered a huge bust. Anthony Bennet, Otto Porter, Alex Len, Zeller, all went top 5. But then you also had Gobert and Greek Freak drafted late in the first, and Oladipo.

Worst case, this draft class might have a couple of early round busts, but there will be at least some all stars in there, and of course some solid role players in there.

Right, exactly. To say there is no one in the draft that can help long term is absurd. Like you said, every draft has had players who can be long term help. Every single one.

We need a defender with some offensive skills at the Center position - that's why I'm hoping Wiseman is the pick.

I think people are vastly underrating how good Chriss can be on our squad.

ya, if i'm GS, i'm taking Wiseman.

that way Green can go back to just doing his thing on defense, just like he did when he had Bogut protecting the paint. Green shouldn't be in the paint like he's been. he's at his best when he can just "roam" on defense.

Undersized to guard big centers.

You will never get me to agree that a super athletic 6'9 player with a 7'1 wingspan is too undersized for anything.

He's perfect coming off the bench.
