Another disappointment on me so far is D'Angelo Russel hasn't shown much of anything. Looks like just a role player or 6th man on the bench hope I am wrong.

Season could be ugly fast. It was fun while it lasted.

We look like a G-League team compared to the Lakers. Looks like a throwback from the Monta Ellis Era .

I told you guys - it's going to be a long season. Tank and draft a center or Small forward.

Will you characters settle down and relax? Sheesh.

D'Lo is substantially better than a bench player. LOL

Season wont get ugly as long as Steph, D'Lo and Draymond are healthy. That's a better trio than 2/3s of the league at least.

G-League team compared to the Lakers? LOL. The Lakers are a G League team after their top 3.

Our back court is just fine.

We arent going to be tanking.

Please dont make this thread unbearable for the entire season, fellas.

LOL This. Talk of tanking is simply f**king stupid.

The Warriors are not going to be a top 4 seed in the West. You cant lose KD and Klay (for 2/3 of the year at least) and expect that. What we can hope for is to sneak in as a 7 or 8 seed and then shock a team. If they fail in that it wont be because of tanking but will be because of the strength in the West and the injury to Klay being too tough to come back this season.

Hitting the panic button over an exhibition game against a very strong Lakers team that had Lebron and AD playing while Curry sat is dumb. Sorry, it just is.
TBH, I don't expect much from the team this season. If, and that's a big IF, we get to the playoffs, that'd be the icing on the cake.

IMO, we've lost too much offense and defense to make a legitimate noise in a crowded Western Conference.
From my perspective, you guys need to be a bit more worried about height. That team out there is tiny, and without KD and Klay shooting lights out every night it is going to be tougher to overcome. Obviously you expect a drop off without Klay, but even with him muscle up front is a glaring weakness IMO. Lakers are obviously big and not a good matchup at all but most of the other west contenders has a lot of size outside of Houston.

Lebron AD PnR and lob to Javale/Howard is devastating with AD making it particularly so

Need to see how Dubs can defend that with Draymond, Looney and WCS
See ya McKinnie.

He did a nice job last year in his role. There is no doubt in my mind that he will get picked up by another team.

Yep. Size and overall defense is going to be a problem.

Lol Jesus
I still think the warriors are a playoff contender if Klay sits out until February/March. Curry will have a MVP caliber season and the whole team will be motivated to prove everyone wrong. They still have 3 all stars in their starting lineup and their front court when healthy (WCS and Looney) will be a lot better than what it's looked like in preseason.

I think their biggest flaw will be their back court defense. Missing Klay and Iggy in addition to KD is a lot to make up for as far as defense and length.

We're too undersized in the front court to compete.

I know it's preseason but Kendrick Nunn dropped 40 for the Heat
I'm happy we didn't give Draymond the max. Still can't hit a shot.
