He shot 25 percent on seven 3's a game.

Really? Thats pretty poor. Hes been regarded as a good shooter. Weird.

No, Melo could never shoot.

not sure where you heard that from, but google LaMelo Ball scouting report. You will find plenty of articles about him being a shooter. Now that hasn't translated yet to his stats, but he's considered a guy who can create his own shot.

In that 2017 game he was the young star on a Chino Hills team that revolutionized basketball. He was the gunner whose sole job was to shoot. From anywhere. That was Lonzo's team and he was the floor-spacer who would pull up from as deep as halfcourt.

If you read his reasoning its bc of his form that needs improvement and bc of his mediocre stats in the Aussie league. Theres a lot of praise that he gives him when it comes to his shooting and his potential to become a good NBA shooter.

He needs work on his form, but his shot is no where near as broken as Lonzo's.

And btw that didnt need that many lols, it really wasnt that funny
Once Melo has a coach that wont let him launch at will, you will see his percentages go up. He isnt Steph Curry, but he certainly isnt Ben Simmons either. Melo has star potential, whether Lavar has turned you off or not.

And that's where Wiseman will get eaten up. He can't bang with any of the bigs. Tolbert yesterday though was saying the same but more politely. He also mentioned though that the big man position is pretty obsolete nowadays.

Teams want that fringe C. Just like you said but more of a PF. Like what the Rockets did. But was Capella really a big? Idk

Wiseman can defend and he has some offensive skills. We don't need him to be the focal point, just rebound, play some D and mix in some perimeter game.

I like Okongwu there then for those points. Especially when we play fast and small ball. Dude is a beast on the rim. I really think he has a much better upside than Wiseman. He's way more aggressive, and on both sides of the ball.

I do keep hearing though they are really high on the kid from Tel Aviv. Deni Avdija. Tolbert has mentioned shin a few times.

Just please no Ball.

I agree on everything here. I think Okongwu will be the pick if they dont trade it. And I don't think there is any way they draft Ball. I know I wouldn't

Why do I see him as a Good shooting Shaun Livingston, maybe being that size as a PG.

He's got great size for a PG. and SWH is right as well. He's been allowed to just take the dumbest shots without anybody telling him to stop. That will change at the NBA level. He won't be pulling up from half court or taking contested fade away 3s at the pro level. One thing the article that I posted as well mentioned what great touch he has when shooting. He just needs a real coach and for him to listen and not be stubborn.

This man ruins what ppl think of his kids, not saying ppl are right bc they seem like good kids who just want to play ball but Lavar gives the world hatred towards them before you hear or see them.

1000%

If people would just start looking at LaVar as a public comedic act, they wouldnt have this unnecessary hatred towards his kids. LaVar is comedy! People need to lighten up!

Best thing to happen to Lonzo was to get traded away from the Lakers and away from Lavar, improved a lot since he left.

Yup, LaVar is just arrogant with an attitude I'm sure even his kids roll their eyes to.

It's not just the fans. Kerr can't stand him either.

Except he's not. He's just an arrogant loud mouth that says outlandish things for attention.
