Kobe Bryant Dead In Helicopter Crash.

I'm refusing to consume this stuff until at least after our super bowl win. I don't want to get depressed this week

Too late for me, I went to the memorial at staples center center today. I take off to Miami Friday, hope our Niners can bring some joy. Living in LA, it's hard to avoid here.

Wasn't much of a Kobe fan, but it is sad and unfortunate.

I just left that area around 9am this morning and then started seeing the FB postings on my drive home to Norcal. Sad sad news. Just makes you think about life in general and that any day, s**t can happen. You gotta tell your kids/wife/etc that you love them everyday. I wasnt a laker fan but was a Kobe fan. He was a huge icon and after he retired I would occasionally see him in interviews and was doing great things in the next chapter of his life. What made it worse was his daughter was in the crash to. RIP Kobe and Gianna.

By Wednesday it should all die down, then all the talk will concentrate on the Super Bowl.

He was only 41, I belive. Leaves behind a wife and 3 daughters. too young to go so soon.
Sounds like pilots error so far
Didn't know there were that many other folks from LA on this forum. But agreed, things seem somber around here.

Should someone named "corona" from LA be flying right now? 🤔
