And they better start by giving Lindor whatever he wants when he hits the market if he's not resigned by the team that trades for him or Cleveland nuts up and pays him. I don't care what they do with Crawford, but they need to do whatever to make sure they're not in 2nd place like they seem to be in for every FA. Hate to say it but hats off to the Dodgers. They have done it right. Granted still no WS title but they are not in a financial hole that prevents them from being players in the market and they've drafted like geniuses. 2-3 years this team will be competitive.
They didn't. Giants have cash. But the talent deteriorated and Thier first rounders started busting out of the league.
We have $ to spend. But now isn't the time to spend it. We don't have a championship core.

Rocker is a stud. Just dominated in college. Don't sleep on Leiter too. He didn't pitch much but he's got the stuff too. Vandy was stacked again. Would love either one but doubt we get one.

Knew this was going to be an incredibly tough series for the Giants to open the season - but damn, being outscored 17-2 through the first two games?
Davis had some good swings so at least that was nice to see.

I wouldn't get my hopes up. They may just hold him back until next season to save another year of service time.
