He was an all star also. He's a good player and hits from the left side. Glad to have him but I feel like they have decent INF talent already.

I wonder if they have a trade brewing?

I was wondering if they were going to try and move one of the other INFs as well. There just isnt enough room for all these guys to play and most of them should/could start.

Well let's see:

Flores and Donnie have the worst gloves out of the bunch. But their bats are very consistent and worth a starting spot. Crawford's glove is dwindling away, but he did pick up his hitting late last year.
Dubon I feel bad for. He's the young buck with talent but gets moved around so much he can't focus on one sole position I feel. At least focus on improving.
La Stella can play 2B, & the corners. He should start too.

I'd move Crawford but that's just not going to happen. Nobody will be trading for him. Same with Longo. Shed way to the younger guys. I mean we have Will Wilson waiting in the wings too and all I read about is good things on him.

Somebody has to be moved especially if they say no DH. I think both parties will come to an agreement on that as that's a huge play into the roster makeup

Talking to Joc Pederson

I like it. Bring him home. Bay Area kid. Cool side note but my best friend was his hitting instructor the last 3 years and helped retool his swing.

He helped him raise his career avg from .222 to .241, so thats a start. lol
And Joc is going to the Cubs per Rosenthal.

Wish we could work a trade for Arenado or any of these soon to be FA's. Fk man. Feels like we're taking a punch to the nuts just sitting on the sidelines

I dont have an issue with us sitting on our hands in regards to signing FA's or trading for stars. This team is so far away from being a World Series contender, that I really dont see the point in making big splashes.

lol the Rockies aren't trading Arenado to a division rival.

I am happy to give him the benefit of the doubt. I personally think he has made some headscratching moves so far, but he has also made a lot of great moves to set us up.

Excited for the future, in spite of it being multiple years away from seeing where we stand.
