I agree. I actually would prefer he stays in minors and gets ABs unless they plan on playing him everyday

He may not be in the mix for the opening day roster, but he'll get a few more chances to prove he's close to being ready. Especially as they iron out the Minor League play.
From what I have heard from scouts and coaches, he's ready to play every day in the bigs. His best reps would be here vs AAA ball. Either which way we slice it he's gotta play this year in the bigs. Especially with the makeup of an outfield of Yaz, Dickerson, Ruf, Slater, and Dubon in the outfield. Who knows about Basbae and Dugger.

Ruf might get more looks at 1B with Belt sick/hurt.
